Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information CF Point Digital Printing Services ("we", "us") collects through the Zipline game on Facebook and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
CF Point Digital Printing Services, 22 GF Ayala Mall Serin, Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Silang Junction South, City of Tagaytay 4120, Cavite, Philippines. Email: cfpoint.services@gmail.com. Phone: 0927 516 4092.
What we collect in Zipline
- Game player ID. Facebook gives each game a player ID that is unique to Zipline. It is not your Facebook profile ID, and we cannot use it to find your profile.
- Leaderboard name. The name you type into the game. It is shown publicly on the daily leaderboard. Use a nickname if you prefer.
- Daily puzzle results. When you started and finished the daily puzzle, your time, and the line you drew, so we can check the solve is valid.
- Streak statistics. Your current and best streak, the last day you solved the daily puzzle, and how many daily puzzles you have solved.
- Technical data. Our server receives your IP address with each request. We use it only to limit abuse (for example, too many requests per minute) and do not store it with your game data. Our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs for a short time.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, Facebook friends list, location, or profile photo. The game has no ads and no in-app purchases.
Stored on your device
The game saves a few settings in your browser's local storage: your leaderboard name, chosen theme, sound setting, practice grid size, whether you have seen the tutorial, and your in-progress daily line. This stays on your device and you can clear it by clearing your browser or Facebook app data.
How we use it
- To run the daily puzzle and show the shared leaderboard.
- To keep track of your daily streak and unlock themes.
- To prevent cheating, by checking that every submitted solution is valid and that times are realistic.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Service providers
- Meta (Facebook) runs the Instant Games platform the game is played on. Meta's own privacy policy applies to your use of Facebook.
- Render hosts our game server (United States).
- Neon hosts our database (United States, AWS us-east-2).
These providers store data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Because they are in the United States, your game data is transferred outside the Philippines.
How long we keep it
- Daily results and leaderboard entries are deleted automatically after the day ends (midnight Pacific Time, which is 3:00 or 4:00 PM in the Philippines).
- Streak statistics are kept so your streak can continue, until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights and deleting your data
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or object to its processing. To delete your Zipline data, email cfpoint.services@gmail.com with the subject "Zipline data deletion" and include the leaderboard name you used and the date you last played. We will delete your streak statistics and any results we still hold within 30 days and confirm by email.
You can also remove Zipline from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (Instant Games).
If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
Children
Facebook requires users to be at least 13. Zipline is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
